A pile of charts Analysis, explanations and practical recommendations

Our analytical reports stay connected to your business task. You receive an explanation of why the result looks this way, what drives it and what should be changed. Every conclusion supports a decision you need to make.

Cause-and-effect relationships

A report is not a set of tables and charts for us. We aim to identify relationships, explain them and guide you through the “forest” of indicators. This is the basis for recommendations that truly work.

Data formats

Response dataset in SPSS, CSV or Excel with a codebook, plus cross-tabulations with statistically significant differences immediately after fieldwork.

Reports with recommendations

Business findings and recommendations in PowerPoint and PDF, with a results presentation by the project manager.

Post-project support

Analytical support after completion, participation in team workshops and individual consultations for your team members.

Testing tools beyond standard questionnaires

Our own survey platform includes tools that capture respondent reactions in more detail than standard rating scales.

Video analysis

Second-by-second video testing

Respondents rate an advertisement with a real-time slider. We see second by second which moments work and where attention drops, so we can identify exactly what should change in the creative.

Text analysis

Communication text analysis

Respondents review the text separately and highlight the words, phrases and sentences they like or that make them want to skip the advertisement. This shows exactly what engages and what repels.

Heat-map

Heat-map analysis of packaging design

A heat map shows where attention lands first, which packaging elements attract the eye and which remain unnoticed. You can see whether the key shelf message works before the design goes to print.

Combined question types in one survey matrix
Flexible survey flows

Programming combined question matrices

We combine open fields, dropdowns and scales in a single table on one screen. This creates more flexible survey flows, reduces respondent fatigue and supports complex data collection.

Quality you can verify

We filter bots, clickers and professional respondents at every stage using technical checks, behavioural analysis and direct verification.

CATI

Studio capacity of 86 interviewers

Four quality controllers, two supervisors and review of at least 10% of interviews. The client receives 100% of audio recordings.

CAWI

Technical validation

IP, device and geolocation checks, detection of suspiciously short responses and disqualification.

F2F

Telephone verification

Every respondent recruited in person receives a telephone verification of the interview, its duration and conditions.

Pilot

Two-stage data collection

A pilot with 25–50 respondents checks logic and scales, followed by questionnaire refinement and the main launch.

FAQ

How is market research different from social research?+
Market research studies markets, consumers and brands to support business decisions, while social research examines public attitudes, values and behaviour. We conduct both types.
What research does Discovery Research conduct?+
We conduct quantitative market research through telephone (CATI), online (CAWI) and face-to-face (F2F) surveys, as well as respondent recruitment for in-depth interviews and focus groups. We work in Ukraine and 30+ countries worldwide.
How much does market research cost?+
The cost depends on the method, sample size, questionnaire complexity, geography, quotas and level of analysis. We prepare a tailored estimate within one or two working days after receiving the brief.
Can you recruit a niche or hard-to-reach audience?+
Yes. This is one of our specialities. We have recruited high-income IT professionals, premium car owners, business owners affected by the war and other hard-to-reach audiences.
How large is your panel?+
The Discovery Research online panel includes 124,000 people across Ukraine. Internationally, we work through verified partner panels while retaining control over data quality.
What does the client receive after the research?+
A dataset in SPSS, CSV or Excel with a codebook, cross-tabulations with statistically significant differences, and an analytical report with business findings and recommendations, plus a results presentation and analytical support.
How do you control data quality?+
We use several layers of quality control. CATI includes audio recording and review of at least 10% of interviews; CAWI includes IP, device and geolocation checks; F2F respondents are verified by telephone. Across all methods, we review completion time, logical consistency, control questions, duplicates, speeders, straightlining and the quality of open-ended responses. Data collection starts after a pilot, and interim datasets are checked throughout fieldwork.
