Life Evaluation Today and Expectations for the Next Five Years
Respondents were asked to imagine a ladder with steps from 0 to 10, where 0 represents the lowest possible level and 10 represents the best possible life. They indicated where they feel they stand today and where they expect to be in five years. Optimism is calculated as the difference between the future and current ratings.

- +2,54gap between expected and current evaluation

Research Methodology
Online survey (CAWI), June 2026. N = 1,000, men and women aged 18–65, urban population of Ukraine excluding temporarily occupied territories. The sample structure reflects the population by gender, age, region and level of education.
The base for each media outlet equals its weekly audience within the sample. The base is shown in the study table and varies substantially across outlets. Media with smaller bases have wider confidence intervals, so adjacent ranking positions should not be interpreted as statistically meaningful differences.
We also conduct similar studies for individual media outlets, Telegram channels and media groups: we analyse audience profiles, information needs and media consumption, measure reach and benchmark performance against competitors.
